The 5th International Specialized Exhibition “ConTech-2009. Concrete plants. Equipment. Formwork ” took place in Moscow in Expocentre, 27th – 29th October, 2009. The event gave the opportunity to the Russian and Foreign experts, scientists, managers of the largest manufacturing companies for discussions, exchanging of the experience and exhibiting of their achievements and innovations.

More than 100 companies from 13 countries of the world like Ukraine, Belorussia, Germany, Belgium, Turkey, Italy, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Spain, France, Switzerland, and USA took part in the exhibition. Many companies from different cities of Russia – Saint-Petersburg and Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Ryazan, Rostov, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Volgograd, Novgorod, Smolensk, Ufa, Kazan – exhibited their products.

The exhibition was placed in the 7th pavilion, halls 1 and 2. To hold the business program 7 conference-halls were arranged. More than 5500 specialists visited the events.

Within the exhibition 10 analytical events were held, which more than 450 experts of the concrete industry visited. At the conferences and seminars, discussions and round tables the burning questions and problems of the industry were discussed.

More than 100 companies from Russia and foreign countries took part in the 5th International Specialized Exhibition “Concrete plants. Equipment. Formwork. ConTech-2009” The main countries-exhibitors are Russia – 39% and Germany – 31%.

Exhibitors’ Sphere of Activity

At the exhibition the manufacturers and retailers of machines for work with concrete were presented. The main directions are concrete mixing machines, concrete batching plants and machinery for concrete products.

More than 5 500 specialists from Russian and foreign countries visited the exhibition in 2009. 80% specialists were from Russia and CIS.

Visitors by the Positions

2/3 of the exhibition visitors are the managers, directors, technical experts of the factories and enterprises. 16% of the exhibition audience are specialists and the members of the Research Institutes and Higher Education Institutes (6%).

Visitors’ Sphere of Activity

52% of the visitors are the manufacturers and suppliers of concrete and dry building mixtures. About 14% are the equipment producers and distributors. Directors and specialists of construction companies are 12%. Research Institutes and Higher Education Institutes are also represented at the exhibition.
